FIGHT SPORTS CLUB COMPETING AROUND THE WORLD


On September 24 and 25, an IBJJF tournament took place in Atlanta, GA. The event was held at the Georgia International Convention Center, Atlanta, GA. In these two days there were 3 tournaments; the Atlanta fall open, the Atlanta fall open NOGI and the Atlanta fall open KIDS.


FIGHT SPORTS CLUB was not left out and was part of the competition with several athletes who came to represent our flag. Here we mention the names of those who reached the podium in the competition. With a total of 6 athletes and 5 medals.

In the Atlanta fall open GI:

  • Kauane Ramos da Silva came in first place in the adult female super-heavyweight brown belt category and first place in the open weight category

  • Mateo Cardona finished second in the adult medium heavyweight purple belt category.

  • Lucas Lisboa Alves was in first place in the adult category medium heavy black belt

At the Atlanta fall open NOGI:

  • Kauane Ramos da Silva came in first place in the adult female super-heavyweight brown belt category and first place in the absolute category

  • Stephen L Bonfardin placed third in the Adult Medium Heavyweight Brown Belt category.

  • Rafael Dias came first in the Master3 middle black belt category, and second in the absolute category.

  • Carlos Andres Moyano Herrera came in first place in the Master3 category medium heavy black belt.



The Charlotte International Open IBJJF GI and NOGI were also held, both modalities took place on October 1, at the Cabarrus Arena & Events Center, Concord. NC.

This event also featured athletes from FIGHT SPORTS CLUB. Here is a list of our athletes who have conquered the podium at the Charlotte Open:

In the Charlotte open GI:

  • Stephen Lott Mastromichalis placed third in the Master1 Medium Heavy weight White Belt category.

  • Nogui Alonso Solano-Palermo came in third place in the master1 medium heavy weight blue belt category and 3rd place in the open weight category

  • Joshua Roy Graham was in second place in the master4 medium violet belt category and third place in the absolute category

At the Charlotte open NOGI:

  • Nogui Alonso Solano-Palermo was in first place in the master1 medium heavy weight blue belt category and third place in the absolute category

We also want to make a special mention to Professor Luiz Osvaldo Ribeiro Duo “manxinha”, leader of Fight Sports Club London, for his first place in the Lisbon Open IBJJF.
